Our History
SYMETRICS- The Institute for Integrated Physical Rehabilitation began as Physiotherapy North; which was established in North Bay in 1990 with a mission of providing quality physiotherapy treatment where all efforts were placed on identifying underlying causative pathology and applying comprehensive, cost-effective treatment.
Physiotherapy North evolved to add other rehabilitation professionals in the pursuit of improving our treatment programs. Experience and research has shown that combining physiotherapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, massage therapy and acupuncture offers the most effective rehabilitation approach for all injury types. As a result, a name change became necessary and SYMETRICS-The Institute for Integrated Physical Rehabilitation was born.

In following Physiotherapy North, SYMETRICS remains committed to continuous quality improvement by ongoing participation in outcome research. We understand the need to update and modify programs in pursuit of efficient, cost effective, integrated physical rehabilitation.
